New Federal Solar Grant Up To $5000

Homeowners can recieve up to $5000 to make energy efficient upgrades to their homes and $600 for energy evaluations. The program called Canada Greener Homes Grants. Incentives can be used for making upgrades to windows and doors, sealing air leaks, installing insulation and also to upgrade heating and cooling systems. These incentives can also be used for installting solar panels with a potential rebate of $1/w for up to $5000.
